Fresno State Esports is more than gaming. Whether you want to play in varsity teams for VALORANT, League of Legends, Overwatch 2, or Rocket League, or create and share content with the Media Team, you’ll find your place with our program. Esports aims to showcase the stories of student-athletes, the culture of the community, and the excitement for student-run events.
The Ranchos Middle School Esports Club attended Anime Gaming Con 2024. We had a blast! It was our club’s first field trip, and the kids first ever live event gaming tournament. The Esports Club kids had a million questions and wanted to be a part of everything. The Anime Fuse crew was absolutely awesome. They answered every question and let the kids be involved in everything possible. Mark from Anime Fuse went out of his way to help me set up everything for my club during registration. Without his help this never would have been possible. We look forward to attending more events in the future.
The Anime Fuse Team has been very generous to us right from the start. They understood what it means for the kids to have a cool after school club like B.O.A.R.D. and the impact it has on them. We took 19 kids to their show this past summer. Each of the kids had a great time in the heat and enjoyed letting their geek flag fly just a little during their summer break. Mark having worked with children in the past, right away made it clear that he wanted our kids there and gave us a great group rate. He personally greeted each of the students and welcomed them to the event. If you have a club that deals with anime, manga, video games, board games, toys, movies, or anything pop culture or maybe even looking for a fun event to possibly volunteer with, Anime Fuse could and should be an event to contact. I know I am looking forward to the next one, and so are all of the Members of B.O.A.R.D.
